Finished

I am finished, I have completed my book {My Stupid Girl}.  I am so excited I almost peed, the day isn't over, there still may be some wetting.  Of course, now this means I just start all over again, but it wont be as intense, I am no longer creating, I am now perfecting.  I am re writing chapter one, then sending it to my editor who is going to be a guest writer on here very soon.

There are a couple of things that you need to successfully finish a book, I want to share them with you.

#1.  Coffee.  Simple, sweet.  Coffee, add some sugar so its like caffeine and sugar.  Good combo!

#2 Determination.  Its hard to finish a book.  Thats not true, its hard to finish a good book.  Its easy to finish a book if your heart isn't into it.  If you are writing just to sell a book and keep a fan base and its half done, theres no depth, then its easy to finish.  Wham Bam, thankyou Ma'am.  If you want to finish a good book that thinks of all the angles, the possibilities and the outcomes then you must be determined.

#3, the most important one in my mind.  Its let people read the work in progress.  It can be embarrassing because its un perfect, its un complete and changes well made to what you are sending out.  BUT, its worth it to get the feed back.  I am lucky that I have two ladies who read my book chapter by chapter for the last five months.
Meet Eve and Rae.

these two girls are the reason I finished this book, and the reason it is going to be published some day.  They read every word, told me what they like, what they didn't like.  What could be better, what was perfect.  And wrote me hate mail when I didn't send a chapter fast enough.  I heard I hate you, you suck, send me a chapter more than I care to say, and I am thrilled because it helped me keep going.  To see people become involved with my characters is the most powerful thing an author could ask for and it is what helped me the most.

So if you want to write a book, you need these three things.

I am so excited to share this book with you.  Come back in a few days because I am planning on putting my characters up on this site to share them with you, and a blurb from the book.
