Review, A love letter and some good advice.

OK, I haven't finished this book yet, BUT I already know how fabulous its going to be.  It's a sixth sense I have, it's creepy.  The first book in the series is Fallen and it was so GOOD.  I adore love stories, and I cant pass up a fantasy, especially a dark creepy one.  Its how I roll.  So this particular story is like the best thing scenes sliced bread or perhaps the wheel.  NO, seeing, its the greatest thing scenes seeing!  I am half way through this book and I'm so in love I want to change my name and move to Georgia and see if there are really other realm spirits there.

I Got a little something from my editor today...I am falling more and more in love with her by the day.  I will soon be stalking her and lighting candles by her front door.  I already have a fantastic love letter that I am writing and its confessing my truest form of love in all its creep-tacular ness.  Its a word, look it up.  ANYWAYS...I realized again, HOW important a good editor that you trust is.  Especially when they fall in love with your characters as much as you have!

This is for you Rae, the creepiest EMO heart I could find!  Now, go lock your doors!

Now for the good advice that I promised I would be giving.  DON'T DO DRUGS.

My favorite line.  "I'm a total freacken rock star from mars!"  WHY DIDN'T I THINK OF THAT?!

Lines that have changed my life

That's an awfully dramatic blog title, but its true.

Thre are a lot of books and movie lines that I remember.  There is something in things that I either watch or read that sticks with me.  (If its a good one of course)

I wish I wrote them.  But Scenes there is nothing that I can do about the fact that there are others that are more brilliant that me, except invent a time machine...and so far my attempts have been fleeting.  I am going to just be inspired by them.

I love this line so much, It freaks me out.  I want a bumper sticker, a shirt and wall paper!

Everything about this scene makes me cry.  The way that the little boy looks at the little girl.  The way he says shes "real pretty" the old Lady's reaction.  Its soooo good.  Genius!

This changed my life!  I love Clair Danes, I would write a character for her to play in a second.  She is so real and passionate.  I was eleven when I saw this and it stuck with me ever scenes.  I am now 29, and I feel the same way now as I did when I first watched it.  (If you aren't familiar, there is a guy the red headed girl is obsessed with, and this blond curly haired nerd has been in love with her forever {I always go for the nerd} and he wrote a love letter and the cool guy used it as his own to her)  This scene literally made me want to become a writer,   I want people to feel this when I write.

The best part
Brian: "Forget what I said!  Forget this whole conversation!"
Angela: "How?"
Ack!  Some of the greatest lines are the shortest and most honest!

This moves me like nothing else. The visual.  The colors.  The water.  The way the little boy reacts.  The whole thing is beyond words.  If I were to actually figure out how to build that time machine, this is what I would go back and STEAL.  MUWAHAHAHA!  Its stunning.  I love the close ups.  I would love to read something, and have all these same beautiful images come thru on the page.  That would be brilliant.

What are some of your all time favorite lines or scenes from something you love, that you wish you had written?
